To operate in Texas, you will need a TXMDV or TXDOT if your vehicle weighs 26,000 pounds or more. If your company operates only in one state (e.g., Texas), the operation is Intrastate. When your truck crosses state lines that are more than one state, your operation is Interstate (e.g., Texas and New Mexico).
